Education of the Whole Person
At Tangara we believe that the best education develops the whole person: it integrates the pursuit of academic excellence, the acquisition of skills and the development of the student’s character.
We believe that parents are the first and most important educators of their children. Our core responsibility is to support parents in this role. We try to foster this relationship in the very heart of the students we educate.
Every Journey Begins With A Conversation. We’d Love To Meet You.

Committed Partner
Since 1982, Tangara School for Girls has held fast to a simple truth: the most powerful education begins at home. As the founding school of the Pared Foundation, Tangara was established to walk alongside parents in their mission to raise daughters of strength, virtue and faith—young women prepared for lives of purpose and integrity.
Inspired by the vision of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, we place parents at the heart of their daughter’s formation. From the outset, Tangara has led the way in personalised education, where faith and learning are deeply interwoven. Today, that same vision is shared by hundreds of like-minded schools across the globe.
We partner with families to nurture every dimension of their daughter’s development, through character-based education, strong academic foundation and a vibrant life of faith. Because at Tangara, we’re not just educating. We are educating confident, compassionate young women ready to lead, serve and make a meaningful impact.

Character Education
Tangara’s Character Education involves students learning the meaning and practical application of virtues in their studies, play and family life.
Virtues Program: Fostering the development of character means helping students grow in the virtues needed to flourish as human beings, including responsibility, good judgment, resilience and self-control. These strong character virtues are forged through student effort in academic studies, creativity, sports, social life, and service
GIVE Program: Developed in line with research from the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues (University of Birmingham), the GIVE program (Growing in Virtue Everyday) in the Junior School allows for specific focus and discussion on a particular virtue each week, exploring practical implications and how it may be integrated into all aspects of life.

1:1 Mentoring
At Tangara, every student is personally known and deeply supported. From Kindergarten to Year 12, each girl is paired with a mentor through our personalised one-on-one mentoring system.
Mentoring meetings are informal yet intentional conversations: a space where your daughter can speak openly, set goals, and grow in self-knowledge. Whether she’s navigating school pressures or the quiet challenges of growing up, her mentor is a steady, trusted presence who encourages her to flourish with resilience, virtue and confidence.
Tangara’s mentoring uniquely has a connection with you. By meeting with both parents to share insights and listen, together we build a strong partnership between home and school. This ensures your daughter’s development is consistent, coherent and deeply supported.
Our mentoring model provides:
- Fortnightly one-on-one mentoring tailored to your daughter’s stage and personal goals
- Guidance across academic goals, friendships, faith and character
- Early identification of challenges, with gentle support or timely intervention
- A dedicated mentor who forms a long-term relationship of trust and encouragement
- Regular mentor-parent meetings to align support and strengthen your role as her primary influence
