Tangara's Year 12 Biology class, with their teachers Ms Sammut and Dr Mal went to UNSW to visit the Museum of Human Disease and the Children's Cancer Research Institute.

They were able to study displays of the causes various diseases as well as meet some inspiring scientists working to find cures for children's cancers. It was an eye-opening experience! They even met Tangara Old Girl Caitlin Ung, who now works as a research scientist.
