April 2014 – TOGS Mums Catch-Up
This fifteenth of April, much of the Old Girls’ mothers group gathered at Tangara Infants for the first morning tea of the year. The warm weather drew us from the building and out into the sunshine, where old and new friends spoke over baked goods and tea. Gathering of mothers and children that it was, conversation was delightfully interrupted often by toddlers on unsure feet, and older children honing their musical abilities on the instruments that lines the walls of the rooms inside. One mother held another’s baby, while the latter gave another mother’s child a hand climbing the playground equipment. A lovely morning was had by all, and only drew to a close as all the younger children, slowly but surely, crawled and climbed and played until their tired bodies demanded rest.
